Meet the Admissions Requirements
Applicants must meet the following general admission criteria:
Proof of High School Graduation (Diploma, GED, or higher degree from an accredited institution).
Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be 17 years or older at the time of enrollment. If under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the enrollment process.
English Proficiency: All programs are conducted in English, and students must be proficient in both verbal and written communication.

Required documentation may include:
Government-issued picture ID
Official transcripts (if applicable)
Qualifying entrance exam scores (for nursing programs)

Entrance Exam Requirements
For students enrolling in our nursing programs, specific entrance exam scores are required:
Practical Nursing (LPN) Program: HESI A2 – Minimum score of 75%
RN Programs: HESI A2 – Minimum score of 80%

Transfer Credit Policy
Chancellor Institute accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions when coursework is comparable in scope and content to our programs.
General Transfer Credit Guidelines:
- Transfer grade must be a grade of “C” or higher for general education courses.
- A grade of “C+” or higher is required for Practical Nursing (LPN) core courses and grades of “B” or higher for ADN-RN Bridge core courses.
- Course codes and credit amounts must match or exceed Chancellor Institute’s course requirements.
- General education courses must have been completed within the past eight (8) years.
- Experiential learning credits are may be accepted for clinical courses or PN and ADN-RN.
Official transcripts must be sent directly to Chancellor Institute from the issuing institution.
Clinical Requirements
Students participating in clinical experiences are required to meet specific health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of students, healthcare providers, and patients.
Required Health Documentation:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) Vaccination or Titers
- Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening or Chest X-Ray
- Physical Examination (within the past year)
- CPR Certification only accept American Heart Association (AHA)
